Retro Sours is part of a confectionery range focused on bringing discontinued favourites back to life for a new generation. The brand required a full identity built from the ground up that captured the nostalgic energy of retro candy, while feeling bold, modern and impossible to ignore on shelf.Now stocked across the USA in major retailers including Walmart, Kohl’s and Cracker Barrel, Retro Sours has quickly become a standout success, with candy lovers across the country going crazy for it.

The challenge was to balance playful, flavour-led visuals with clear product communication, ensuring strong standout in a highly competitive category. Every element needed to dial up the fun and familiarity of classic candy, while still feeling fresh, cohesive and commercially effective across multiple SKUs.

The outcome is a vibrant, characterful brand system that feels joyful, recognisable and full of personality; designed to hit instantly with both new audiences and nostalgic fans alike.
