Full Brand Identity / Tier 03
Coffee Suppliers came to us as an established, highly corporate business ready for a fundamental shift. Based in Auckland, NZ, two brothers took over the business but the previous brand identity did not reflect the warmth and craft in everything they wished to do.
We led a complete redesign, spanning visual identity, tone of voice, social direction, packaging, and physical collateral. At the heart of the new direction is a balance- professional enough to retain trust with existing clients, yet expressive and approachable to open up a wider, more individual audience. The aesthetic draws on a rustic, minimally Italian style, pairing bold Art Deco typography with classic market awning stripes.
A key part of the identity is the hero logo and mascot, created as a tribute to the owners’ late father. This element anchors the brand emotionally, introducing a “friendly neighbourhood NZ dad who just loves good coffee” spirit; grounded and familiar.
This thinking extends across every touchpoint. The Sorrento Coffee range was developed as a distinct but connected sub-brand, with their coffee and powder packaging designed to feel playful, trustworthy and genuinely delicious.
Coffee Suppliers now presents as a business that not only delivers quality products, but clearly cares about them, their team and the people they serve.
