Kristy Campbell is a brand identity specialist and graphic designer with a Bachelor degree in Graphic Design and Animation and over 10 years of industry experience—and leads our all-female team from The Stables in Orewa, New Zealand.

After being bored to near-tears by drab designs in-house—picture: one set of fonts and only a three tone palette permitted—she set herself a challenge to undertake 100-days of design to reignite her creative spark. She opened up an Instagram page, shared her creations, had her first inquiry—and unexpectedly kickstarted a career as a creative freelancer!

A year later, Pink Pony Creative was founded. And then…Pedro, the hot-pink-hued company mascot, was born. (Why “Pink Pony”? A combination of a penchant for pink and a 10-year history of competitive horse riding! And honestly, it just felt right.)

Kristy’s #1 mission with Pink Pony Creative is to create unforgettable and unmistakable branding and visual identities for bold businesses. But going one step further, Kristy is passionate about educating on the importance of using cohesive and consistent aesthetics everywhere you market. That is, having a strategic suite of branded design elements & marketing collateral.

Because consistency in visual branding is what builds trust, sparks recognition, cultivates familiarity, and makes the biggest impact.

Beyond her creative pursuits, Kristy is an enthusiastic, warm and engaging educator and speaker within the graphic design industry. She’s had the privilege of speaking at Adobe MAX in LA, USA, for two years’ running.
